My wife and I both work at the Philadelphia call center. I’ve worked with InspiriTec’s team since 1984 both as a computer programmer and in my current role as a customer service representative (CSR), and part-time programmer. Before coming to InspiriTec, I worked for AbiliTech as a computer programmer. I like the people at InspiriTec and they understand my needs. I don’t feel that I would be given the same opportunities at another employer, which is why I joined InspiriTec. They might not be willing to help me through my disability challenges as InspiriTec does.
I’m always respectful with the customers. I ask the right questions and listen actively to try to resolve their problem. If I am unable to help them, I am empathetic and help them understand the rest of the process. I help the customer to feel he/she has been well served and understood. I truly enjoy talking with customers and feel it provides a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. The skills I have gained as a CSR have also helped me better communicate with my colleagues and customers on my software development projects.
